1st Thursday: 
Queen City Tower, morning
John F. Kennedy, afternoon

2nd Thursday:     
Jane Frazier Village, Buildings 7 through 17

2nd Friday:   
Jane Frazier Village, Buildings 1 through 6
Banneker Gardens, all units

3rd Thursday: 
Fort Cumberland Homes, all units

If a holiday falls on any of these scheduled dates, they will be adjusted and residents will be notified.

If there is suspicion of a problem with pests (ants, bees, roaches, bedbugs, mice, etc.) please submit a maintenance request from this site or  call the office immediately.  Please do not wait for the actual inspection date per the schedule.

Preventive Maintenance Inspections

The Housing Authority takes the physical condition of our units and grounds very seriously and treats it as a priority.  Our men and women of the Maintenance Department are trained in the inspection and repairs needed to keep our housing inventory operating in a safe, clean and maintained condition.

All of our units receive a preventive physical inspection at least one time per year.  These inspections cover every inch of the unit both inside and out with all deficiencies identified and repaired.  The schedule of inspections is posted on the calendar of events in the monthly newsletter and no other notification will be given to tenants.

A copy of the inspection will be left in your unit for your information.  If any repairs need to be completed, maintenance will be returning within twenty days to complete them.  Entry is MANDATORY in order to do inspections as well as repairs.  Please continue to call the Maintenance Department (301) 724-2055 with any deficiencies even if your inspection is scheduled in the near future.
